In April 2023, Kooyoora was the victim of a cyber incident in which an unauthorised third-party gained access to one email account. Kooyoora has conducted an investigation into the incident and has carried out a comprehensive review to identify any impacted individuals. Kooyoora has taken steps to contact all individuals impacted whose personal details were available and known to Kooyoora. There are some individuals that Kooyoora have been unable to reach. This is a small group of people who had contact with professional standards prior to Kooyoora being contracted. The information breached relating to these people was their name and the type of misconduct.
