Redress Scheme

The National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional sexual abuse launched on 1 July 2018. It will run for 10 years and people can apply any time up until 30 June 2027.

People can apply online or via a paper application. The online application can be accessed through myGov. If you don’t already have an account, you can create one. The paper application can be accessed by:

  • downloading it from the website
